Co-founder & CEO  

Ted has a 20-year track record developing and commercializing technology, with emphasis on opto-electronics and mechanical engineering. He has successfully developed many laboratory instruments in the immunoassay space and is named inventor on several patents in the field. He participated in the successful IPO of a major life sciences company.

Ted holds several patents including 3 in the area of fluorescence imaging and image analysis.

Co‐founder, CSO & CCO

Sonela brings 20 years of experience and an extensive network in the immunoassay space, as well as hands-on experience developing immunoassays, including the development and validation of the clinical assay used for FDA approval of the Merck HPV vaccine Gardasil. Sonela brings extensive expertise in commercial strategy for biomarker and cell-based assay technologies from previous roles at companies such as Life Technologies, Millipore Sigma, and DiscoverX.

Co‐founder & CFO

Charles manages financial matters of Charted Scientific. Charles has created numerous successful ventures, built on a foundation of corporate strategy and business development for Fortune 500 companies. His early professional background at Bain and Company focused on strategic growth pathways, followed by launching a successful hedge fund and several cleantech ventures.

Scientific Advisor

Paul Wylie, formerly of Head of Applications at TTP Labtech and currently Director of Multiplex Applications at Abcam, advises on imaging and cellular assays. Paul has managed the development and successful launch of related products in the translational biology space.

Finance and Strategy Advisor

Steve contributes a track record founding, funding and building successful tech companies. His most recent software company exited through an acquisition by a Fortune 500 company. In addition to finance, Steve has held leadership roles in marketing and strategy.

Software Engineering Advisor

Wayne brings over 25 years of experience managing teams developing imaging & medical technologies. He holds a masters degree in electrical engineering and is well versed in electrical, software and optical engineering. Wayne is the inventor of 30+ US and international patents.
